Still working at Northland computers, still surviving. I recently met up with an old friend that I missed more than I would have ever thought, and care for quite a bit still. I plan on meeting up with her again soon as well. that thought makes me happy :)

Met a wonderful person and best friend.
Lost my job to downsizing.
Moved home.
Discovered the joys of slow internet again.
Helped my father with his job.
Traveled to a day lily garden and learned more about daylilies than I ever wanted to know.
Discovered how to live in a house with other people again.
Learned of a higher purpose for me.
Discovered how screwed up the american economy is, and how hard finding a job is.
Learned to trust my intuition.
Learned even more patience through my on the side consulting (see link on the left side)
I thought I would share something that I said to a friend today, reguarding people in general that seem to only care about themselves.
One of my favorite quotes of all time. "Your Focus determines your reality"
Focus also effects how you percieve things.
The problem with most american people is they tend to think they are the center of the universe. All they care about is their feelings, their experiences: Themselves. They can't see any other point of view, because it is unfathomable to them that there are other people in the world, with hopes, dreams, and feelings exactly like them.
They fail to percieve reality. Everybody has a story. But they dont care. As long as thier own story gets told, they don't care about anyone else.
They focus themselves as being the center of the universe, and so, that is their reality
These types of people are not those that you should be worrying about. Let them mature first and maybe they will see that other people matter too.
If you notice...I don't talk a lot about myself.
I keep most of my thoughts, feelings, opinions, and ideas to myself. I dont want to burdon other people with my problems.
A lot of the opinions I express in public are not my real opinions on things. I try to say what people want to hear, so that I don't threaten thier reality, and get angry with me. I change my focus, try to fit in. It doesn't work usually *Smile*
See, I mean to post here more often... but I dont know what to post about. I don't know what people would find interesting or boring... ill try out some things. Email me if you have any suggestions.
